The Foundation for Systemic Change (FSC) exists to advance justice and equality around the world, driving change that produces comprehensive, sustainable – not episodic – impact.

Built on the premise that lasting change can only be achieved through a systemic approach that addresses all factors responsible for major societal challenges, FSC invests in organizations and individuals promoting positive, systemic change at all levels of society across the globe.

We provide flexible grant funding to support engagement projects (documentaries, podcasts, articles, essays, theater, books, music, etc.) that highlight ongoing economic, political, social, racial, ethnic, and environmental inequities, and, as an integral part of their proposals, include a systemic approach as part of the strategy for addressing those deep-seated challenges.

Partner & Project Highlights

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are Important to us.

As a foundation focused on confronting inequities by fostering positive, systemic change,  the Foundation for Systemic Change (FSC) upholds the freedom and equal dignity of all human beings and is deeply committed to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and non-discrimination.

We are committed  to treating all people with respect and without distinction of any kind resulting from race, ethnicity, religion, language, culture, gender identity, expression, or sexual orientation, country of origin, nationality, immigration status, physical and mental ability, socio-economic status, education level, age, veteran status, pregnancy, family structure or any other identity.

FSC is committed to lifting up voices that have been historically excluded or marginalized due to discrimination and oppression, encouraging and supporting all that is inclusive of people from diverse backgrounds, and respecting and engaging with difference.

We believe that our organization and those organizations and individuals that we support should reflect these commitments.
