Taylor is a documentary filmmaker who brings two decades of professional cinematography, producing and oral history experience to bear in film and journalism. Since 2015, Taylor has been documenting the last chapter of Yezidi life in the Shingal mountains following the 2014 genocide against the Yezidi in Iraq.
Taylor trained under Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, producing the seven-part series, THE WAR, and has worked under dozens of directors on documentaries.
Taylor is a graduate of Yale University.
